Overview
It’s unusual to need to reinstall Avid. But it is sometimes needed to fix unusual problems.
Steps
Be sure that you know your Avid password. This Article has details, Forgot your Password?
Uninstall Avidian Avid through Control Panel > Programs and Features, or Settings > Apps.
Download Avid’s Full installation from the most recent Release Notes.
If you are unsure if you are a Windows Administrator on your PC, please contact your IT or Avid Support.
If your company manages your own Avid server, please contact your IT for the installation version that matches your server, and its URL.
Close Outlook and run the installation. Full install instructions can be found here:

Once Outlook is opened, continue through the end of Avid’s installation.
Please test that the Contact folder setting is correct by creating a contact through Avid and verify that you can find it in Avid.
