This will address when a client is installed without a local SQL instance is connected to a server that is upgraded from Avid 5 to Avid Ultimate (5.5) and loses it’s Opportunity data.
When a Avid server (Professional or Enterprise) is upgraded to Avid Ultimate, any client that is attached to that server that was installed without a local SQL database will lose it’s Opportunity Data from the Opportunity Manager. This can be resolved by reinstalling the Client using the Avid Ultimate full installation file with the ‘No SQL’ option.
TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE:
1. Uninstall the previous version of Avid from the Avid client.
