Avid won’t work with the “New Outlook”

Background

Microsoft has released a preview of their “New Outlook”. You might see a toggle in the upper right of Outlook.

Avid will not work with the New Outlook

Microsoft’s release in September 2024 will not support requirements needed for Avid. Avid uses Microsoft’s VSTO Add-In in the current “Classic” version.

Please do not try the new Outlook at this time.
