Prophet and its ACT competitor are both CRM software. The
ACT competitor while being a solid product does not have the rich list of features
that Prophet does. There are many things about the ACT competitor that make
it inferior to Prophet, so read below to get a good idea of what the head to head

Prophet’s ACT competitor has been a popular software in the industry for many
years. As a consumer this is not a benefit to you. Our ACT competitor
already has a large list of companies that it counts among its clients, but you
are not on that list. When in a crisis who do you think will be more important,
you or them? While our ACT competitor has continued to lose market share quarter
over quarter, Prophet is gaining new customer in large amounts because we know how
to take care of and service new clients. Is enough to be an industry leader,
or unlike our ACT competitor to you the customer demand more?
There are substantial differences between Prophet and its ACT competitor.
The first is our target markets. While our ACT competitor is designed for
large enterprise level clientele our software can be used by companies of all sizes.
We value our mid and small level companies as much as the large enterprise contracts.
Each user presents their own challenges and unique needs, and unlike our ACT competitor
we strive to make each client as important as possible. This means better
support, better service, and a better product.
While I could sit here and denigrate the ACT competitor, I would prefer to talk
about the features of Prophet that make it stand out from its ACT competitor.
The first is the ability to look at numbers, facts, figures and quotas quickly.
In our ACT competitor you can look at these things as well, but with Prophet the
integration and ability to bring the data forward is vastly superior. The
Prophet software uses the sales dashboard to quickly and concisely consolidate data
into charts and graphs that anyone can read. In addition, unlike our ACT competitor,
these charts and graphs are optimized to load quickly through you email client of
choice so that you or your employees can check them quickly. Unlike our ACT
competitor no one in your organization can claim to not have quick access to relevant
In addition to this, the Prophet program offers full integration with all of your
Microsoft products. While our ACT competitor will integrate with Windows the
level of integration is not on the same level as the Prophet software. The
integration in Prophet takes all of the information and uses Windows to present
it an easy to load easy to read manner. This separates us from our ACT competitor
and makes IT people happy.
As you can see there are differences between Prophet and our ACT competitor software,
but in all I prefer the ease and integration of the Prophet software. This
is not to say that the ACT competitor software is bad, just that for my money I
want a program and a company that I feel I can work with. I do not get that
from our ACT competitor. Their company does many things well, but I feel that
Avidian has taken care of me and my small business better than I could have ever
anticipated. If I had to do it all over again I would not hesitate to buy
Prophet over any ACT competitor software. The tools are there to do exactly
what I need, and the software simply makes my and my sales team’s lives easier.
The quotes in Prophet are much more customizable than the ones found in our ACT
competitor’s program. You can fully adjust and tailor the quote to your
individual client so unlike the ACT competitor each quote is unique and the same.
You can carry the same logo, same company information, and same layout but fully
adjust and tailor any other portion of the quote to the client’s need.
While some of this is possible within our ACT competitor’s software, Prophet
makes this process easy and seamless.
